It's very easy to fix your water heater problem by yourself.

- Pilot light won't stay lid

- Bad Thermocouple

- Bad Spark pilot ignitor

- Bad pilot burner

Note: MrTachyon30006, thanks, pointed out that the proper repair is to change the whole kit. Or else, the water heater is no longer sealed like it was designed to be. So you may want to change the whole kit when you repair yours.
