DIY Easy fix For Your Ps3 or Ps4 Cheap

My playstation 3 just shut off last week in the middle of playing a game. I use my playstation to watch netflix and to play games. I contacted Sony and told them the problem and they told me to send it in and they could fix it. and it would be a $150 dollar charge. That's a lot of money and I decided to look around on google and see if there were any other options available instead of shipping my playstation off for 4 to 6 weeks and paying that much money. I found through my research that it was most likely the power supply which is a part inside of the playstation. I read about it and watched a couple youtube videos showing how to replace it yourself. So I decided to tackly this job myself. I found a brand new power supply on ebay from a trusted seller. I had the part within 3 days(which was today) and I made this video showing you how easy it actually is to do yourself. You don't have to have any skills in order to do this repair except for knowing how to unscrew a screw.........10 screws to be exact. I hope this video inspires you guys to try this if your ps3 or ps4 decides to quit on you. It saved me weeks of waiting and also saved me $138 dollars. and it literally takes less than ten minutes to do. It took longer here because I was filming. The power supply I bought is a brand new one, not a refurbished one, and from a trusted seller on ebay. I would not waste the money sending it off to Sony for them to do the same exact job when you can do it much cheaper and have your playstation up and running in just a few days. I use my playstation to watch netflix and to play call of duty, so it does get used a lot. and this is an issue that is bound to happen at some point as all parts fail eventually. I tried to show how to do the whole process and make it as easy as I could. If you have a broken playstation 3 or 4 and try this out on your own let me know how it goes. and if you have any questions along the way feel free to message me through youtube and I'll try to help out the best I can, but it is really easy. Just remember the screws are very small, so you want to be careful not to lose them. and when you are installing the new power supply make sure to line up everything so that it goes in correctly. I had noticed the last couple weeks with my old power supply in it that I was getting kicked out of games and my playstation was just shutting off randomly, so I was getting warning signs that it was starting to go bad. I had just figured that it had something to do with the playstation network. but it was just the power supply starting to go bad. A lot of youtubers are utilizing drones in their videos and the footage from the drones is a major part of their videos There are many other things I would like to purchase but the drone is first on my list.
